• WHO WILL LOVE IT: Best for players ages 17+ who enjoy storytelling and layered gameplay. When your clumsy puppy, unreliable car, or chaotic weekend take life off script, it’s pure gold for Life Out Loud. Everyone’s life has stories worth telling.
• GAMEPLAY: Players use cards from their hand to shape and twist topics. As stories unfold, listeners give reaction cards to reward the storyteller, encouraging engagement and surprises.
• LEARNING & GAME LENGTH: It takes a few minutes up front to understand the card play. Most beginners watch the 5-minute “how-to video” and are able to enjoy the game quickly. Once play begins, turns are straightforward letting the focus stay on the stories. Games typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on player count.
• FLEXIBLE GAME: Directions explain Standard Mode. Three additional modes are provided at the end of the instructions: Co-Op Mode, Simple Mode, and Drinking-Game Mode for adult groups.
• PLAYER COUNT: 3-8 players. For 8 or more players, we recommend teaming up in Co-Op Mode.

• IT IS NOT: A fast, ultra-simple, party game. Players who don’t like layered gameplay but love stories, might enjoy Simple Mode, which makes it a great conversation starter without complexity.
